John Lithgow reprises his role as Roald Dahl in Giant.

Following a sell-out run at the Royal Court and THREE Olivier Awards—including BEST NEW PLAY, BEST ACTOR for John Lithgow, and BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR for Elliot Levey - the critically acclaimed Giant had its final performance at the Harold Pinter Theatre in the West End on 2 August 2025.

Tony, Golden Globe, and Olivier Award-winner John Lithgow (Conclave, The Crown) reprised his extraordinary performance as Roald Dahl, with Olivier Award-winner Elliot Levey (Cold War, Patriots, Good) as Tom Maschler; Rachael Stirling (The Divine Mrs S) as Felicity Crosland; Richard Hope (Hijack) as Wally Saunders; and Tessa Bonham Jones (Dune: Prophecy, The Young Woman and the Sea) as Hallie, with Aya Cash (The Boys, The Franchise, You’re the Worst) making her West End debut as US publisher Jessie Stone.

Written by Mark Rosenblatt, directed by Nicholas Hytner, and designed by Bob Crowley, Giant had its final performance at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 2 August.
